Junipers are coniferous plants in the genus Juniperus. The most common juniper is the juniperus communis.

Juniper berries contain many useful substances like oil, acids and dextrose. The berries does also contain lots of nutrients. For example, it has high concentration of vitamin C.

They are used extensively in medicine, as a potent ingredient in various medicines and treatments.

The Juniperus communis is very common in the Nordic region and is found throughout the northern hemisphere.

It's an evergreen conifer. You can find different types of junipers all over the world. There are about 60 different juniper species.

Juniper berries is said to have antiseptic capabilities and therefore believed to help treat urinary tract infections and cystitis.

It’s also said that the berries can increase blood circulation in the skin.
